- I got a really good deal on this. I love this because it's easy to mix and match this with a variety of outfits. I wore this top a couple of times when I was there so this is a great basic top that's easy to mix and match. Another top that I wore was my washable silk top from Prince. I love this top. I bought this last year for my trip to Paris and I've worn it several times since. It's just a great material, great basic top. It matches with like pretty much anything. Pants, slacks, jeans, skirts. Like I've worn it with like so many different bottoms. On this trip I wore it with some shorts. I know a lot of people like to wear it as is like flowy but I kind of like my clothes a little bit more fitted so what I usually do is I will clip or I'll like pin the back of it with like something cute like this like this pin right here. So this pin I bought on Amazon but it just came in the set and you get like a bunch of pins and I didn't want all the other pins but you know what it was like I think 10-15 bucks so I was like whatever I'll just get the whole thing. I usually avoid wearing or buying silk one because it's expensive and you usually can't wash it and you have to take it to the dry cleaners which is like an added expense but the reason why I fell in love with this one was the price point was great. It was very affordable and it's washable so I've already washed this a few times and it's still like in great shape. I knew there was a possibility that I might you know go in the water so I did bring a bathing suit. I brought my bathing suit from Atleta. It comes with straps too if I want to put straps on it. I bought this like I think six years ago when Chris and I went on our trip to Costa Rica. I have not bought a bathing suit since. It's kind of crazy like I've seen other bathing suits that I like and I would buy it but then they just didn't fit right. I actually really like wearing this as a top so this is kind of like my other top that I wore. I would wear this and then over it I would put like a cardigan or something and then when it got warm I just you know wore this like because you know it's like it's like an island vibe there anyway so it's not it doesn't feel awkward walking around in a bathing suit top. This has been my go-to cardigan this year. I first got this on our trip to Japan.

- We went to Japan in April and I needed something not too heavy not too light so I ended up getting this cardigan from Quince and it is alpaca wool so it's like nice soft lightweight. Your job as a passenger will be to choose the colors that you like and pants that fit your midlife style and body type. As a pilot's wife I have flown standby even on the back row of the airplane and I have learned what not to wear and what to wear when you are squeezed like a mammogram between two other passengers in a really small airplane seat. The number one outfit idea is strategic for travel. Cardigans worn over a neutral colored shirt will help protect the shirt that you're wearing and a cardigan is easy to take off in a really tight airplane seat. A cardigan can be worn in the airplane or over another outfit during your vacation. My travel tip is to wear your bulkiest shoes inside the airplane. Travel outfit number two is comfortable for your flight and it has water repellent features especially if you need it for a Christmas market trip you're going to or for a river cruise trip you want to pack for but you can wear them comfortably because of these features. Number one the waistband is elastic it has stretch to it the leg parts are super thin so it's not going to cut off your blood flow. I wear a large in these as well as my hiking pants that I usually show on here as well. One travel tip for that airplane outfit of joggers or hiking slicky type pants is choose that color strategically so that you can wear it with your airplane outfit but also with vacation outfits so you're not packing more pants because you've been strategic inside that cramped airplane seat. Wear a non-spongy super cheap fleece as a top layer inside a cold airplane seat. This aqua colored fleece is incredibly high quality fleece but it's also on Amazon. Fleece is number one thin for travel but it is also number two effective in retaining your body heat if you are cold and pack that fleece with one pair of undies and a couple of pairs of socks in case your carry-on luggage gets lost and use it as a pillow mid-flight or pull out the fleece if you get cold. It's thin enough where putting it on is not going to be too hard between two passengers. Depending on your vacation destination choose your t-shirt that you wear in the airplane strategically. For European trips and even travel outfits I try to stay with with short sleeve shirts because I can layer so easily and not be overheated. If you're going to be skiing
