- I started birth control in high school and it was kind of this thing where they pressure you into going on birth control and when I say they I mean the gynecologists, so like I, and I get why they do that, I mean they're worried about teen pregnancy and it does help with a lot of side effects of PMS and acne, I think it's helped a lot of people, but I, but it was weird that they just kind of put you on it and you don't really learn that much about it, I didn't really learn about it in school or in health class or anything and I didn't really talk to anyone about it.
